A tranquil lifestyle with an urban soul at a comfortable distance from the city centre

Flower Tower is the ideal combination for those who seek greater quality of life, with every convenience at close reach. Leça da Palmeira offers a less dense, yet cosmopolitan location.

Time to enjoy

The Flower Tower is located in a residential area, with all the necessary services for your daily life close by. Just a short walk or drive from your home, you can find every convenience such as supermarkets, green spaces, local retail, pharmacies, banks, post offices and schools.

Residents can also enjoy the wide, open spaces Leça da Palmeira offers for sports and leisure activities, as well as an award-winning beach famous for its surfing.

From the Past ...

Once an ancient Roman village located on the banks of the Leça River, Leça da Palmeira was a place where pilgrims from the Holy Land would come ashore and spend the night. Due to the strong ties to fishing and the sea, Leça da Palmeira has always been known for its beaches and cuisine.

... to the Present

Preserving the past while looking towards the future, technological and industrial evolution has allowed Leça da Palmeira to stand out and play a crucial role in Portugal’s growth. Leça da Palmeira is a place with a youthful spirit, offering the opportunity to enjoy water sports or beautiful walks by the sea. The town is also considered an architectural icon in Portugal, featuring various impressive projects by the renowned architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.

Leça da Palmeira

Quinta da Conceição

Just a 5-minute walk from the Flower Tower, this is one of the most pleasant leisure spaces in the council, a green lung beside the city, steeped in tradition and heritage. The public park includes a tennis court and fabulous swimming pool designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira. A chapel, Manueline style portal and former cloisters are remnants of the ancient convent and can be visited.

Casa de Chá da Boa Nova

The ‘Boa Nova Tea Room’ was constructed just two metres from the water’s edge and features the ocean as a backdrop. Yet another unique project by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, the kitchen is run by Chef Rui Paula, who has won two Michelin stars.

Boa Nova Lighthouse

Inaugurated in 1927, this is the tallest lighthouse in Portugal, measuring 46m high and offering a panoramic view of the Atlantic.

Ocean Pool

This project designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira is comprised of two saltwater pools for adults and children, located right on the ocean.

Porto de Leixões Cruise Terminal

This is an undeniable icon in the Leça da Palmeira and Matosinhos region. It is the largest project ever to connect the port to the city, increasingly establishing itself as a cruise port.
